Digital Projects Manager - Consultancy role for 6 months - starting as from June 2021

Toyota Belgium is currently implementing digital solutions to accompany its transformation towards an always more Customer friendly business. As Project manager, you will accompany the implementation several digital projects for. In this frame, you will ensure the complete monitoring of the project from its development to its production.
Namely, these projects are:
- Support 6 Websites migration from Tridion to Adobe for Toyota and Lexus, Belgium and Luxembourg with a specific added value to content management and optimisation.
- Projects management till set up: Toyota Motor Europe e-commerce tools: new car reservation, used cars booking.
- Implement Toyota Motor Europe Voice of the customer solution.

1. Objective of the assignment

Project management: Accompany content migration (technically performed by an external supplier) for new and existing Toyota & Lexus websites pages. This will include preparing bilingual (curating, editing, updating, and supervising tagging done by external partner) content to be migrated from TRIDION pages into the new CMS ADOBE.
Finally, once the information architecture and web / mobile look and feel of the website in the new CMS is finalized, duties will involve adjusting content and pages structure and design (UX/ UI) to integrate to fit the new style guide and standards and optimize website performance in generating leads.

2. Tasks and deliverables

  • Integrate the existing Website map and help identify outdated/duplicate content in 2 languages versions and related technical issues in the CMS;
  • Content to be migrated is already identified, but you may have to contribute to prepare content for migration including text culling/merging /editing, tagging and HTML coding quality check;
  • Prioritise the pages to be migrated, ensure the delivery, assist the review of each migrated page, its layout and publishing dates taking into account best practices in content management, user experience (UX/ UI) and SEO;
  • Optimise when necessary, in close collaboration with Web manager, SEO manager and integrators organising pages performances
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (GDPR namely) and guidelines (Toyota’s and Lexus’) for all migrated data;
  • Make necessary changes to the structure and design of web pages to integrate the new information architecture (reservation and e commerce tools) and web look and feel.


1. Education

  • University degree in business, IT, literature or demonstrated equivalent

2. Experience


  • At least 5 years of experience;
  • Knowledge of digital content management;
  • Previous project management experience in a IT/ context busines.


  • Previous Experience in Website migration, ideally towards Adobe, would be ideal.

3. Skills


  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Ideally Adobe and web accessibility standards;
  • Excellent ability to edit and write modern, user-focused, digital compliant content for the web in French and Dutch;
  • Understanding of best practices in web user experience and SEO;
  • Proven ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects at different stages and targeting different audiences;
  • Very strong organizational, time management, collaboration and communication skills;
  • An eye for detail and a high level of accuracy.


  • Working knowledge of content management systems;
  • Knowledge of customer journey mapping and/or user testing.

4. Languages

  • Working knowledge of French, Dutch and English.
